Description |
Fl. 89mm wide; perianth segments 38mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt or somewhat truncate, slightly mucronate, golden yellow, spreading, shallowly concave, with margins incurling, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower and shouldered at base; corona 22.5mm long, split almost to base into six segments, each closely overlying a perianth segment forming an inner and an outer whorl of three, brilliant orange-red, with deep olive-green at base, bi-lobed and wavy to lightly frilled, with rim crenate.
