Fl. 120mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls; the outer whorl 51mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, with white mucro, spreading, plane to a little concave, with margins narrowly incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorl inflexed, folded or concave inwards along midrib, scarcely mucronate; corona segments 30mm long, interspersed among inner petaloid segments and clustered at centre, frilled and entire.
