Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 74mm wide; perianth segments 30mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, yellow, with whitish mucro, spreading, plane, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 18mm long, split nearly to base, each segment four fifths as wide as and closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an inner and an outer whorl of three, shallowly bi-lobed, truncated and somewhat recurving at apex, crenate; corona of secondary flowers tends to remain unsplit/cup-shaped.
