Fls 1-3 per stem, forming a double triangle, 55mm wide; perianth segments 24mm long, ovate, blunt or truncate, mucronate, white, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments scarcely mucronate; corona 15mm long, narrow funnel-shaped or cylindrical, angled, opening strong yellow, becoming paler at maturity, mouth straight and wavy, with rim minutely crenate.
