Fl. 91mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, 39mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the outer two whorls slightly reflexed, plane to a little concave; the inner whorls successively shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the centre, with margins incurved or wavy, scarcely mucronate; corona segments in several whorls, 16mm long, interspersed among the inner petaloid segments, wavy to lightly frilled.
