Fls 1-2 per stem, 45mm wide; perianth segments 6mm long, ovate, truncate, prominently mucronate, reflexed, plane or with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping less than half; the inner segments scarcely mucronate; corona 3mm long, disc or shallow bowl-shaped, smooth, mouth straight, ribbed and wavy, with rim crenate.
