Description |
Fl. rounded; perianth segments very broad, rounded at apex and sometimes truncate, prominently mucronate, ivory white, spreading, of thick substance, overlapping half; the inner segments only a little narrower, with margins wavy, sometimes folded at shoulder; corona shallow bowl-shaped, yellow, with a broad band of bright red at rim, mouth split in places and overlapping, loosely frilled. Tall. Early to mid-season. 2n=28 |
