Description |
Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, vivid yellow 9B, with white mucro, spreading or slightly inflexed, plane, with a metallic sheen, with midrib showing, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments a little narrower, sometimes with a "thumb" at the margin, inflexed, a little creased and with margins slightly wavy; corona short funnel-shaped, vivid orange 28B, mouth straight, split in places and overlapping, lightly frilled, with rim crenate. Early to mid-season. Sunproof. 2n=27,28 |
