Description |
Fl. large; perianth segments oblong, blunt, prominently mucronate, white or pale yellow, spreading, overlapping one-third; the inner segments somewhat inflexed; corona cylindrical, strongly ribbed, deep yellow, mouth flared and lobed, frilled, with rim crenate. Late. 2n=22. Resembles an earlier-flowered `Empress' of less refinement and stronger substance |
