Fl. rounded, more than 102 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded or truncate at apex, more or less prominently mucronate, pure white, slightly reflexed, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spreading, with margins wavy; corona shallow, split to base, the six segments in two deeply overlapping whorls of three, alternate to the perianth segments, loosely ribbed, gold, shading to deep red at rim, frilled.
