Perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, only very slightly mucronate, bright yellow, a little inflexed, with margins incurling, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, with margins nicked near apex, square-shouldered at base; corona short cylinder-shaped, lightly ribbed, brilliant reddish orange, with yellow at base, mouth straight, neatly frilled.
