Description

Fl. 123 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, brilliant yellow 7A, spreading, plane, finely ribbed, with margins slightly incurling, regular, overlapping one-third; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, more nearly acute and less obviously mucronate; corona broad funnel-shaped, smooth, brighter and darker than vivid yellow 14A, with mouth expanded, rim slightly flanged, deeply notched and crenate. Early. Resembles a larger and earlier-flowered `Dawley'
