Description |
Fl. 110 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, brilliant greenish yellow 3A, with white mucro, spreading, plane, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower, inflexed at base, reflexed towards apex, with margins wavy and incurling; corona cylindrical, angled, darker in tone (13A) than the perianth, with a band of brownish yellow at base, mouth heavily ribbed and very widely expanded, rim irregularly and very deeply notched. Early. Resembles a larger and improved `Julius Caesar' |
