Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, prominently mucronate, somewhat inflexed, slightly concave, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, more strongly inflexed, with margins wavy and incurved; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellow, with green at base and a very broad band of deep orange-red at rim, closely frilled.
