Perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, deep rich yellow, spreading, very slightly concave, smooth, with midrib showing, of thick substance, regular, overlapping half; corona shallow bowl-shaped, slightly darker in tone than the perianth, with a broad band of orange at rim, mouth widely expanded, frilled.
