Description |
Fl. 107 mm wide, deep rich yellow; perianth segments narrowly ovate, acute, with white mucro, inflexed, overlapping at base only; the inner segments somewhat twisted; corona cylindrical or narrowly funnel-shaped, smooth, slightly deeper in tone than the perianth, the mouth ribbed, flared, 6-lobed, even, with rim deeply notched. Early. 2n=14,21,30. Resembles larger-flowered {N. hispanicus} vars {propinquus} or {spurius} |
