Description |
Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments ovate, light greenish yellow 4B, with white mucro, flushed with a slightly darker tone (4A) and becoming darker still at base, often with green beneath, inflexed, twisted or with margins wavy or recurved, separated; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, vivid yellow 14B, slightly paler at base, sometimes touched with green at apex, more or less deeply split, the six segments opposite the perianth segments and bi-lobed, more or less spreading, with rim rolled; the corona filled with petaloid and corona segments in alternate whorls; the petaloid segments longer than the darker corona segments.
