Fl. forming a double triangle, clear yellow; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, a little inflexed, with margins sometimes wavy or incurved; corona cylindrical, smooth, with mouth flared, rim irregularly and shallowly crenate.
