Description |
Fls up to 13 per stem, 36 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, blunt, prominently mucronate, yellowish white (4D), strongly reflexed, overlapping half; the inner segments not noticeably mucronate, sometimes a little twisted; corona cup-shaped, very broadly and shallowly ribbed, brilliant to light greenish yellow 4A to B, mouth straight, wavy, with rim entire. 2n=31. Resembles a smaller-flowered `Avalanche' with more flowers per stem or `Grand Monarque' but with the perianth segments reflexed |
