Perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, blunt or squarish at apex, prominently mucronate, opening ivory white, becoming pale yellow, with a slightly darker tone at margins, spreading, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, not noticeably mucronate; corona spreading, with six very deeply overlapping lobes alternate to the perianth segments; the lobes with a broad band of light orange overlying yellow at midrib and tapering to apex, with yellow at base and white at margins, lightly frilled.
