Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, broadly ovate, blunt, very slightly mucronate, golden yellow, smooth, overlapping half; the two outer whorls of about equal length, spreading or a little inflexed, more or less plane; the inner whorls shorter, strongly inflexed, with margins incurling; corona segments shorter still, broad, yellow, touched with orange at rim, frilled.
