Description |
Fl. rounded, about 70 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls opposite one another, broadly ovate in outline, rounded at apex, white, with green at base, overlapping a quarter to one-third; the two outer whorls of about the same length, slightly inflexed; the centre whorl with fewer than six segments, only slightly shorter, more strongly inflexed; corona segments in near-continuous whorls between the whorls of petaloid segments, greenish yellow, with a narrow band of scarlet at rim, sometimes with a line of white between the yellow and the scarlet. Late. Scented. 2n=14 |
