Fl. rounded, 90 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded at apex, only slightly mucronate, reflexed, smooth and of thick substance, deeply overlapping; the outer segments overlapping one another; corona bowl-shaped, loosely ribbed, opening raspberry pink, becoming deep salmon pink, with mouth deeply lobed and lightly frilled.
