Fl. rounded, 76 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded or squarish at apex, slightly mucronate, spreading, somewhat convex, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; corona disc-shaped, very broad, ribbed, salmon pink, mouth more closely ribbed, thickly frilled, with rim dentate and slightly rolled.
