Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 90 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate in outline, rounded or truncate at apex, mucronate, pure white, slightly reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly spreading; corona disc-shaped, tightly ribbed, bright orange, with yellow at base, mouth deeply split in places and sometimes overlapping, wavy, with rim minutely crenate. Late. Resembles a more precisely formed 'Palmyra' with a smaller corona |
