Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 90 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments ovate, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, deep yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, smooth at base, ribbed in upper half, orange-red, with yellow in lower third, mouth expanded and frilled, rim flanged and crenate. Mid-season. Sunproof. Sweetly scented. Resembles 'Lipstick' but with a smaller perianth of better form |
