Fl. rounded; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, very broad, blunt or somewhat truncate, slightly mucronate, greenish white (155A), with midrib showing, overlapping half or more; the outer whorl spreading; the inner whorls only a little shorter, slightly inflexed; corona segments few, clustered at centre, half the length of the inner whorls of petaloid segments, light to brilliant orange-yellow 22B-23B, with brilliant yellow 12B at base and a creamier yellow (14C) at rim, loosely frilled.
