Fl. rounded, 110 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, somewhat reflexed, only very slightly mucronate, buff white, with broad midrib showing, with margins sometimes nicked, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments more nearly spreading; corona shallow bowl-shaped, broad, tightly ribbed, vivid yellow 9B, with a more or less broad band of orange (28A) at rim, mouth sometimes more or less deeply split and overlapping.
