Description |
Fl. 110 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in two whorls, brilliant greenish yellow 6A; the outer whorl broadly ovate, blunt, fairly prominently mucronate, spreading, concave, overlapping half; the inner whorl lying within the corona, strongly inflexed, often folded along midrib, with margins tightly incurled; corona short funnel-shaped, half the length of the petaloid segments, smooth, apparently darker in tone (12A or darker) than the perianth, with mouth deeply lobed, the lobes deeply overlapping, with margins frilled and deeply recurved, appearing to be extra growths; the corona with another whorl within the second whorl of petaloid segments, tightly frilled.
