Fl. somewhat rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, bright yellow, with slight white mucro, spreading or slightly reflexed, plane, with midrib showing, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, spreading or a little inflexed, with margins wavy or incurling; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, yellow, with a broad band of orange-red at rim, mouth ribbed and flared, lightly frilled, with rim crenate.
