Description |
Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, yellow, spreading, plane, with margins minutely incurling at apex, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly acute, somewhat creased; corona split to base, the six segments three-quarters the length of the perianth segments and closely overlying them, smooth or loosely ribbed, pink, with undertones of yellow, and with yellow at rim, deeply bi-lobed, with the lobes overlapping, the outer segments more or less plane, the inner segments frilled. Mid-season. Sweetly scented |
