Description |
Fls 4-7 per stem, 55 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, vivid yellow 12-13A, with prominent white mucro, reflexed, creased, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments less prominently mucronate, spreading or inflexed, more strongly creased, often with margins folded back from midrib; corona bowl-shaped, loosely ribbed, strong orange 25A, frilled, with rim crenate. Late. Sunproof. Strongly scented. Resembles a later-flowered and more brightly coloured 'Hugh Town'. Standard: colour print provided by registrant (WSY0030020) |
