Fl. forming a double triangle, 72 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, shouldered at base, mid-yellow, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower; corona disc-shaped, smooth, yellow, with green at base and a band of bright orange-red at rim, mouth wavy.
