Description |
Fl. rounded, 104 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 2 whorls, broadly ovate, blunt or rounded at apex; the outer whorl spreading and plane; the inner whorl inflexed, with margins wavy or deeply incurled; corona segments in several whorls, very broad, roundish at apex, deep apple blossom pink; the outer whorl opposite and three-quarters the length of the outer whorl of petaloid segments, spreading, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls inflexed and deeply frilled. Late to very late. Resembles 'Waldorf Astoria' but with broader corona segments of truer pink |
