Fl. rounded, 103 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, slightly reflexed, of heavy substance, overlapping; corona deeply split, the 6 segments opposite and closely overlying the perianth segments to two-thirds their length, salmon pink, with yellow at base, lobed and frilled; the inner segments inflexed.
