Description |
Fl. forming a double triangle, 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments very broadly ovate, mucronate, white, very slightly tinged yellow at corona base, spreading, plane, with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, brilliant yellow, mouth ribbed, flared, frilled, with rim crenate and slightly rolled. Mid-season. Sweetly scented. Resembles sibling 'Dayton Lake' but with smoother texture and more trumpet-like corona |
