Fls 8-12 per stem, 42 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, more or less prominently mucronate, yellow-white (11D), spreading, plane or concave, sometimes with raised midrib, of heavy substance, overlapping half; corona cup-shaped, smooth, brilliant yellow 8A, mouth loosely ribbed, straight, wavy, with rim obscurely crenate.
