Description |
Fls 5-7 per stem, rounded, 45 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, spathulate, squarish or rounded at apex, brilliant yellow 7A, with prominent white mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, somewhat inflexed, often creased or concave or with margins incurling; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, strong orange 24A or 25A, mouth expanded, sometimes deeply lobed and overlapping, loosely frilled, with rim entire or occasionally notched. Mid-season. Strongly scented. Resembles a later-flowered 'Hugh Town' with a better quality flower. Standard: colour print provided by registrant (WSY0030028) |
