Fl. forming a double triangle, 95 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, shouldered at base, blunt, only slightly mucronate, opening greenish white 157D, becoming primrose yellow (4C), spreading, somewhat concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, less noticeably mucronate, a little inflexed; corona bowl-shaped, smooth, strong yellowish pink 32D shading to a darker tone (32C) at rim, with greenish white at base, mouth ribbed and frilled, with rim dentate.
