Fl. rounded, 70 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, blunt at apex and mucronate, light greenish yellow 7D, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, orange-pink (31B), mouth ribbed, flared, frilled, with rim flanged and dentate.
