Fl. star-shaped, 90 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, vivid yellow 9A, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; corona cylindrical, angled, light orange (23A), mouth flared, frilled, with rim dentate. Early. Resembles 'Ablaze' but flowers at a different time and has a richer yellow perianth |
