Fl. rounded, 70 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, golden yellow, with white mucro, spreading, a little concave towards apex, with margins sometimes wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly plane, with margins more often wavy; corona bowl-shaped, loosely angled, red, with mouth wavy and rim entire. Mid-season to late. With a strong sweet scent |
