Fl. rounded, 82 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, very broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the outer whorl spreading, plane; the second whorl inflexed, with some margins wavy or incurled; the centre whorl shorter, strongly inflexed, with margins rolled tightly inwards; corona segments interspersed among the petaloid segments, half the length of the outer and second whorls, broad, bright pink, frilled.
