Fl. rounded, 95 mm wide; perianth segments roundish, very broad, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, opening yellow, becoming white, with yellow at rim, mouth ribbed, widely expanded, wavy, with rim dentate.
