Fl. rounded, 110 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, very broad, blunt, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more, honey yellow; the outer whorl spreading, plane; the second whorl inflexed, folded along midrib and concave either side of it; the inner whorl incomplete, strongly inflexed; corona segments shorter than the petaloid segments, interspersed among them, clustered at centre, deep peachy pink, frilled.
