Description |
Fl. rounded, 75 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly ovate, somewhat truncate, with margins a little wavy; corona very shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, bright yellow, with a broad band of reddish orange at rim, tightly frilled, sometimes split and overlapping, with rim minutely dentate.
