Description | 
							Fl. star-shaped, 50 mm wide, bright yellow, facing down; perianth segments oblong, blunt, strongly reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments more nearly ovate and acute, with margins slightly incurling; corona cylindrical, slightly constricted towards mouth, smooth, mouth ribbed and flared, with rim deeply notched and dentate.
