Fl. rounded, 95 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, bright yellow, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, clean orange-red, mouth flared and frilled, with rim dentate.
