Description |
Fl. 118 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, shouldered at base, blunt, scarcely mucronate, vivid yellow 13A, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, slightly inflexed, with margins somewhat wavy; corona cylindrical, smooth, darker in tone (17B) than the perianth and becoming more richly coloured with age, mouth slightly expanded, rim irregularly or obscurely crenate.
