Fl. forming a double triangle, 96 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, only very slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, or a little concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; corona split to base, the six segments closely overlying the perianth segments, heavily ribbed, deeply frilled.
